Bishop Kenny Athletic Training Center
to Open Fall ‘24

The highly anticipated Bishop Kenny Athletic Training Center is currently being constructed on the school’s campus located on Kingman Avenue in Jacksonville, FL. The two-story training facility will include mix of athletic training areas and offices. The building includes steel framing, and block and brick wall construction. The height of the building necessitated temporary bracing, but the biggest challenge was matching the mix of bricks used throughout the campus facilities, some of which were originally built in the 1950s. Matching the mix pattern also offered EKB masons a chance to showcase their skills to maintain a cohesive look and feel for one of Jacksonville’s finest educational facilities.
